Overview[]
Revealed Progress is episode 2 of season 2 of Vita Carnis, it released the 5th of October 2024. The video contains several plotlines presented as TV shows, audio logs, and footage switching frequently. The most significant clips are the audio logs of various individuals apart of experiments concerning different Carnis organisms and footage of an incident involving V-1 (One of the Singularities).
Audio Logs[]
Meat Snake Recreation Project- 03/31/1992[]
Dr Azram Griffiths, a Meat Snake specialist and Recreation Project Manager recounts the experiment. The Meat Snake specimen, prior to the experiment, had been raised in captivity to maturity and was roughly 2 meters in length and required two people to lift onto the table where it would be restrained. The experiment shows the unique properties of Meat Snake flesh when relaxed and consistently fed.
0-3rd Day[]
- The meat snake was fed roadkill, fresh meat and scraps twice a day, containing essential nutrients like bones and organs to optimize it's growth.
4th Day[]
- On the fourth day, the specimen had now submitted to it's new feeding routing whereas it had shown signs of intimidation on the previous days.
11th Day[]
- The specimen's movements and eating habits have slowed down, showing signs of being overwhelmed from not having enough time to digest the meat. The meal time was altered to once a day and portion size was increased.
19th Day[]
- The meat snake's movements have reduced significantly to the point of requiring assistance in feeding, a special mechanism was crafted around the specimens mouth to do this. The Meat Snake's skin tone has also turned a darker shade of red.
21st Day[]
- The specimen had now been deemed viable for sampling due to reaching all criteria and a piece of it's skin was taken to be tested. The first test was cold resistance, with the specimen's skin holding it's integrity at temperatures of -100°C with a regular meat snake only surviving -30°C. The heat resistance test showed the sample surviving temperatures of 5000°C. During testing, the meat snake specimen had commenced mitosis, splitting into 2 smaller Meat Snakes and escaping it's restraints. The experiment was halted as a result and the 2 organisms have been returned to their original enclosure.
Mimic experiment - 09/20/1992[]
Dr. Farren Brones, a Mimic expert, reports on the behaviors of Mimics during different stages of life, comparing the ones raised in captivity and ones brought in from the wild. The Mimics being tested died from starvation because the only thing they would eat was human flesh, and the researchers refused to feed humans to the Mimics.
- Juvenile Mimics initially hunt creatures smaller than themselves, before progressing to larger ones. They target the throat to deliver the killing blow as quickly as possibly. The Mimic also undergoes metamorphosis into its adult form.
- The adult Mimics in captivity demonstrated a withdrawn and forlorn behavior as they only consumed human meat, not supplied by researchers. These specimens died off from starvation. Wild Mimics were brought in and studied, surviving longer due to already having food from prior hunts before they were captured.
- The adult Mimic's hunting behaviors take much longer as they observe their prey before striking, unlike the fast-paced ambushes of their juvenile form. The Mimics stood around 160cm in height. Despite this, they displayed incredible flexibility being able to fit into furniture and mannequins.
- Mimics used to be called Butchers in the late 1970s, however the name was changed to Mimic to better match it's abilities. It is also implied that the name was changed to Mimic as a reference to the board game Dungeons and Dragons.
- The hunting tactics of adult Mimics are almost completely random, making it difficult to document the patterns. Each case in the wild differs, making it difficult to determine the causes of these behaviors through testing.
But before Dr. Farren Brones could explain more, he questions on how long the tape needs to be, until it was ended.

Incident involving V-1[]
- V-1, (most likely Verum-1 after Verum Carnis) is one of the 7 singularities contained in the facility. It is most likely the same Singularity from the experiment involving the dead cow in New Beginnings , as large amounts of crawl grows around the walls of the chamber. It was scene being "agitated" when the cleaner's leg broke and when more personal arrive, before it gets aggressive, and it emitted what seems to be the same effects as what happened during The Facility-0 Raid.
Magister's Wonders[]
- Similar to New Beginnings, the video occasionally cuts to the show Magister's Wonder's, in which The Magister teaches the viewer on finding fossils from rocks. Despite seeming insignificant, the video may have a deeper connection to the other clips present.
Trimming Show-Off[]
- The Trimming Show-Off is a contest of Trimmings with various body shapes and features, with a Trimming named Patty being deemed the winner. Patty has a similar appearance to an Elder Mimic, being entirely black except for the face which is white. It also has spikes on its back and 8 legs.
- This alludes to the existence of 'Elder Trimmings' and is the third Carnis species to demonstrate such a transformation with the other 2 being Meat Snakes and Mimics. This shows that more members of the Carnis species could have the ability to change into a "elder form" with enough food.
Trivia[]
- The Meat Snake experiment yields similar results to the Meat Snake Specimen, an extremely engorged meat snake 6 times the size of a regular organism. The specimen's skin was a deep shade of maroon and was extremely resistant to all kinds of force. This indicates that a meat snake with no external threats and a large food supply will develop similar to the Elder Mimic forming from regular Mimics with an abundance of food.
