Nutrire Co. is a company in the analog horror series Vita Carnis made by Darian Quilloy. Nutrire is most known for creating Flavor Enhancer Deluxe, which is heavily implied to be the spores of the host. Their logo is a black circle with a red triangle, which represents the Singularity. The same symbol is also seen in various places such as, the flag in the prince story, the government badges, and many more.
"To bring out the richness of flavor in each and every meal!"-Nutrire Co.
History[]
Little is known about the origins of Nutrire. It is known they appeared around 1990 and had instant success. They have faced lawsuits from people getting sick from Flavor Enhancer, but they have claimed the product is perfectly safe. It was first introduced in the Cheese Crawl Penne cook along video and was brought up more in detail in the flavor enhancer advertisement and later proven to be harmful in Message. Around 1994, they were shut down after it was revealed they had ties with the cult. Since then, all nutrire products were deemed unsafe for consumption.
Flavor Enhancer[]
The Flavor Enhancer is a bright yellow color, almost an identical match to the spores produced by the host. In the Cheese Crawl Penne cook along video, the cook can be seen wearing a respirator and a hazmat suit, proving flavor enhancer isn't something you should breathe or consume. It also says to wait until the dish is under 60° C (140° F) or the enhancer will not work. Note that this is also the exact temperature that most spores die. This same temperature is also shown in the ad.
Trivia[]
- Flavor Enhancer is actually popcorn salt in the Cheese Crawl Penne cook along video and was later changed to turmeric in the Deluxe size.
- It is very possible because of the symbol found on the packaging that Nutrire is involved in the Cult and government, explaining why they haven't faced serious consequences.
- Because of the incredibly complex hunting style of the host, it is very unlikely they would survive if Nutrire was not around, as they eat very little of their victims, are very rare, and located in forests and cold environments where not many humans live.
